Coastal Underwater Imaging Technologies provides the service of geodetic mosaic mapping, sub bottom profiling and 3D surface mapping using high resolution acoustical sonar systems. To provide the correct data sets we can incorporate any combination of sidescan sonar (Imagenex towfish), sub surface profiling/imaging sonar (Kongsberg 1071 dual head rotating sonar) and sub bottom profiling (Imagenex DF-1030 sub bottom profiler and 881 echo sounder) sonar systems. Coupled with DGPS or our RTKGPS which captures both GNSS and GLONASS satellite communications; provides extremely accurate positions anywhere on the planet. To pull in the shoreline for mapping purposes a laser workstation is utilized to measure GPS offset distances, operating parallel to the shore waterline where physical access is not possible or where there is poor GPS reception due to vegetation overhang. All systems can be containerized for ground travel or aircraft flight. If requested we have our own vessels designed to deploy any combination of our equipment for any task, be it for deep water scans or shallow river surveys.
